Resources available in the Centre for Computational Chemistry
The Centre for Computational Chemistry is situated in a specially refurbished area of the the School of Chemistry, with six academic offices, a large graduate workroom, large modelling lab for graduates and undergraduate project students, writing-up room, postdoc office, meeting room and machine room. We also benefit by having the School's Unix support officer (Chris Tothill) on the CCC corridor.
Local computer resources include a Streamline cluster of 84 opteron processors (bohr) and a large Beowulf cluster grendel. These are complemented by the University supercomputer, Bluecrystal, administrated by the Advanced Computing Research Centre.
