These pages are intended mainly for use by workers within the School of Chemistry, and they detail some of the resources that are available for unix/linux based computers. grendel is a beowulf cluster belonging to the computational group, but available to any member of the department who needs to carry out processor intensive calculations. It is to be used for serial, not parallel codes.
