Welcome to the official Fusion website. Fusion is the University of Bristol Chemistry Society, hosting a variety of events throughout the year including:
- Bar crawls
- Pub quizzes
- Cake sales
- Book sales
Fusion also hosts talks from guest lecturers offering a chance to hear about some of the more interesting and unusual aspects of chemistry and science.
Upcoming events are published on this site and advertised around the department. Add the Fusion Events Group on Facebook to be the first to hear about what's going on.

Fusion organise society hoodies every year, usually in the second term after Christmas.
Joining Fusion
Fusion is a great way to get to know and spend some time with other students in the department. You can become a member of Fusion at any point during your university career, although most people choose to join as a fresher. Application forms are sent out in the fresher's pack and can be returned with your unit choices for a hassle free way to join up. Alternatively find the Fusion stall at the Freshers Fair on Thursday 6th October and sign up in person. Membership costs £15 for a lifetime membership; well worth the money. Fusion AGM
If you enjoy the events organised by Fusion and want to be a part of it next year then consider applying for a position at the end of the year at the society AGM. The AGM is held towards the end of the year and all posistions are re-opened. Being on the Fusion committee is a great way to get more involved with the department and looks brilliant on your CV, as well as being a lot of fun. Anyone who is a member of Fusion can run for any of the availiable posistions.
