Surfactant based synthesis of inorganic nanostructures

Research
Mesostructured materials

Synthesis and functionalisation of mesostructured siliceous materials (ellipsoidal nanoparticles, fibers and thin films) with controlled dimensions, structure and morphology using novel quenching process.

Biomimetic materials

Synthesis of nanostructured calcium phosphate using block copolymers and microemulsions.

Catalysis (National Chemical Laboratory, India)

Development of microporous and mesoporous silica-alumina catalysts for oxidation and allylation of aromatic substrates, encapsulation of Schiff base transistion metal complexes in zeolites.
