Synthesis of 2,4,5-T and Dioxin.

The synthesis of 2,4,5-T is similar to that for 2,4-D and MCPA. However, the temperature during the second step must be controlled carefully, because if it rises above 160^oC a side reaction occurs, and tetrachlorodioxin is produced.
