Following oral administration of 100mg titrated mifepristone to 3 healthy, male volunteers, 90% of the dose was recovered in the faeces over a period of 6 to 7 days (Deraedt et al,1985), the principle elimination route being biliary. The urinary route was the second most important route of elimination and there was also a negligible in renal clearance.
