The anaphase

      It is divided in three stages  :

• Centromeres split, and chromatids separate

 

• Chromosomes move to opposite spindle poles

 

The movement of a chromosome happens with a shortening of the microtubules (loss of subnits at the poles)

 

• Spindle poles move farther apart
