Welcome the mass spectrometry service pages: The Facility is housed in W404 - a newly refurbished laboratory (opposite the Organic Geochemistry Suite). The Facility is managed on a day-to-day basis by Dr Paul Gates. Sample analyses are performed by Paul Gates and Paul Lawrence. The facility exists to service the department's needs for routine mass spectral analysis along with more advanced applications development and non-routine analysis. There are also a number a mass spectrometry research projects being undertaken by the facility. The facility works closely with the neighborouring NERC Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry Facility.
