Welcome to the BOGS 2009 homepage
The 2009 meeting of the British Organic Geochemistry Society will be hosted by the Organic Geochemistry Unit (OGU), School of Chemistry, University of Bristol. The meeting is scheduled to take place in July, starting in the morning of the Tuesday 7th July and continuing to around midday on Wednesday 8th July.
The aim of the meeting is to act as a relatively informal forum for Organic Geochemistry in all of its forms. In particular there is an emphasis on the active participation of younger researchers, enabling them to give an oral presentation at a national level for the first time.
2009 will also see the International Meeting of Organic Geochemistry (IMOG) 2009. Researchers planning to attend this meeting are also encouraged to join us at BOGS 2009 which, as well as being a fun and stimulating meeting in its own right, shall also provide an ideal means of perfecting your presentation prior to attending IMOG 2009 in Bremen.
