Dr Guodong Jia
Guodong was a Chinese visiting fellow. During his 12 month visit, he explored the potential application of acid hydrolysable monosaccharides from peat sediments to palaeoclimate and biogeochemical studies.

Dr Osamu Seki
Osamu studied the development and application of biomarkers and their isotope ratios (hydrogen and stable carbon isotopes) in paleoceanography, paleoclimatology, biogeochemistry and carbon cycle studies.

Miss Lucija Šoberl
Lucija is undertook a 6-month research visit to analyse and define organic residues on Neolithic pottery, embedded in different archaeological and geographical contexts and connected to different Neolithic subsistence strategies. She enjoyed it so much she came back to do a PhD!

Originally from the Department of Environmental Sciences, Second University of Naples, Italy, Mauro visited the OGU from July-September 2006 to conduct analyses on phospholipid fatty acids derived from a Free Air Carbondioxide Enrichment (FACE) experiment.
