The research group is headed by Guy Lloyd-Jones in the Organic and Biological Section of the School of Chemistry at Bristol. In October 1999 we relocated to the New Synthetic Chemistry Building. We are well funded and well equipped for research and  a member of the Bristol Centre for Organometallic Catalysis. The research work from the group has been recognised in the award of the Royal Society of Chemistry Hickinbottom Fellowship 2000-2003, the Liebig Lectureship 2003 of the GDCh (German Chemical Society), the AstraZeneca Academic Award in Organic Chemistry 2003, the Thieme Journals Award 2004, the 2003 Corday-Morgan Medal & Prize of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Organic Reaction Mechanisms Medal and Prize of the Royal Society of Chemistry (2007) and most recently, a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award (2008-2013).
