The research group is headed by Guy Lloyd-Jones in the
Organic and Biological Section
of the School of Chemistry at
Bristol.
In October 1999 we relocated to the
New Synthetic Chemistry Building. We are well funded and well equipped for research and a member of the
Bristol Centre for Organometallic Catalysis.
The research work from the group has been recognised in the award of the Royal Society of Chemistry
Hickinbottom Fellowship 2000-2003, the
Liebig Lectureship 2003 of the GDCh (German Chemical Society), the
AstraZeneca Academic Award in Organic Chemistry 2003, the
Thieme Journals Award 2004, the 2003
Corday-Morgan Medal & Prize of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Organic Reaction Mechanisms Medal and Prize of the Royal Society
of Chemistry (2007) and most
recently, a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award (2008-2013).
