We are very supportive of the widespread availability of chemometrics packages especially to institutes worldwide that do not have the funds to purchase highly expensive software. However a great deal of work has been done on developing this and we, therefore, appreciate some form of interaction in recompense. In addition, we feel that profit making firms should be willing to donate funds to help our research. We do not expect every recipient to provide a positive answer to all the questions, apart from the agreement not to distribute the package.
