Autumn 2008: the Kruss Surface Science Centre opens, offering state of the art surface analysis and characterisation techniques the support to the School of Chemistry.

In 2008, we welcome no fewer than three new academic group members, Melanie Bradley Wuge Briscoe and Stuart Prescott, making the Bristol Centre of Colloid and Interface Science undoubtedly the largest concentration of talent in the UK.
