Daniela Plana
Daniela graduated from the Universidad Simón Bolívar (Caracas, Venezuela) in 2006. Her final year project was entitled Study of para-Substituted Phenol Oxidation through in-situ UV-vis Reflectance and Thin-Layer Techniques and was supervised by Dr Carlos Borrás. She did her PhD at the University of Manchester (UK), under the supervision of Prof Robert A.W. Dryfe. Her doctoral thesis was entitled An Electrochemical Investigation of Electroless Deposition: the Copper-DMAB system. She joined the Electrochemistry Group in October 2010.
