First Summer School, Trento, 2002

2. The first Summer School of the Network, concerning the chemistry and physics of ions in the gas phase, took place between Tuesday 7 and Saturday 11 May 2002, in Trento, Italy. Topics included semiempirical computation of potential energy surfaces of dicationic and other surfaces, ab initio computation of potential energy surfaces, guided ion beam techniques including advanced data collection techniques, and nonadiabatic dynamics in ion-molecule collisions.
