Recent Developments
Significant developments affecting the Section include:
1. Almost all of the research space occupied by the Physical and Theoretical Chemistry section has been recently refurbished following successful bids to the Joint Infrastructure Fund (JIF), SRIF, SRIF2 and the Royal Society/Wolfson Foundation. These awards also provided substantial funds for new equipment, adding to recent successful bids for instrumentation under JREI and the Research Councils.
