Block copolymers at Oil-Water Interfaces

Andrew Woodward

Andrew Woodward (previous student, left the group in 2008)

I am working to create monodisperse emulsions using a microfluidic device, with the aim to study competitive adsorption of surfactants and polymers at the oil water interface. I have made microfluidic devices based on those reported that successfully use the 'flow focusing', or 'pinched thread' methods. Examples of these devises are well documented at Prof. Weitz's Experimental Soft Condensed Matter Group webpage, at Harvard University.
