I am studying microfluidic methods to produce monodisperse emulsions of oil-in-water (o/w) systems. PDMS is used as a model oil which, containing nanoparticles, is entered into the microfluidic device using water with surfactant as the continuous phase. The aim of this project is to study the effect of the nanoparticle inclusion on the PDMS droplets.
