The Chemistry of Sunscreens.
Although it is becoming increasingly clear that sun avoidance is most desirable, outdoor occupations and lifestyles make total avoidance impossible for many individuals. The regular use of sunscreens represents a practical compromise in this regard. This web-project is all about the chemistry behind sunscreens, the active ingredients in them as well as the photochemistry involved.
