THE WORKS OF LOUIS PASTEUR

Students today have much to thank Louis Pasteur for:  he improved the method of fermentation without which we wouldn't have beer or wine.  And what would we do without pasteurised milk on our cereal, to settle our stomachs in the morning, after having drunk too much the night before? When the effects of too much partying begin to take their toll, without Pasteur, his theory of infectious diseases and discovery of the live vaccine would we ever be cured in time to go clubbing on Friday night?
