Star Liquid Cleanline

·        Uses: Sanitiser

·     Contains: >5% Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), 5 – 15 % Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl)

·     Hazards: Corrosive causes serious burns, when in contact with acids it liberates toxic gases

·     First Aid: If comes in contact with eyes, rinse well with cold water.  If inhaled, remove vapour or spray mist and seek medical attention.  If it comes in contact with skin, flush with running water.  Ingestion – remove product, drink small amounts of water but do not induce vomiting.

·     Fire Fighting: Product is non-flammable.  If there is a fire due to other causes, product is compatible with water, CO2, foam and dry powder.  Product may evolve toxic gases if involved in a fire.

·     Physical Properties: Appearance: Clear, pale green liquid.

  pH: 12

  Odour: Typical hypochlorite smell

  Solubility: Soluble in water

  Relative Density: 1.18 gcm-3

·     Ecological Factors: Product contains - 5% - 15% chlorine based bleaching agents, <5% phosphonates, <5% polycarboxylates.

 

Deosan Red Label Hypochlorite

·        Uses: Cleaner

·     Contains: 5 – 15 % Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl)

·     Physical Properties: Appearance - Clear, pale green liquid.

  pH - 12

  Odour - Faint chlorine odour

  Solubility - Soluble in water

  Non-flammable

·     Ecological Factors: Product contains - 5% - 15% chlorine based bleaching agents.

·     Stability and Reactivity: Avoid high temperatures or humidity, keep out of direct sunlight.  Keep away from acids – if comes in contact with acid, toxic gases will be liberated.  Hazardous decomposition products contain chlorine.

 

Diversey Lever Descale

·     Contains: Phosphoric acid (H3PO4) – 15 – 30%

·     Physical Properties: Appearance: Clear, colourless liquid.

  pH: >2.0

  Odour: Characteristic of phosphoric acid

  Solubility: Soluble in water

  Relative Density: 1.18 gcm-3

·     Ecological Factors: Product contains - > 30% phosphates, must not contaminate sewage or drainage ditch in dilute or un-neutralised form.

·     Stability and Reactivity: Reacts with alkali metals.  There are no known hazardous decomposition products if the product is stored properly.

 

Starpower Cleanline

·        Uses : Cleaner

·     Contains: 15 – 30% Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), 5 – 15% Sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate.

·     Hazards: Corrosive, causes burns  If comes in contact with acids, toxic gases are liberated.

·     Physical Properties: Appearance: White, granular powder.

  pH:  12.5 for a 1% solution

  Odour: Faint chlorine smell.

  Solubility: Soluble in water

  Non-flammable

·     Ecological Factors: Product contains - 5% - 15% chlorine based bleaching agents, 15 – 30% Phosphate, <5% Non-ionic surfactants, which are biodegradable in lime.

 

Deosan Summer Teatcare Plus+

·        Uses: Teat cleaner

·     Contains: > 5% Propan-2-ol.

Propan-2-ol

·     Physical Properties: Appearance: Opaque pink liquid.

  pH:  6

  Odour: Alcoholic.

  Solubility: Soluble in water

  Relative Density: 1.18 gcm-3

·     Ecological Factors: Product contains - <5% non-ionic surfactants, Dangerous to fish and aquatic life, so do not allow contamination of sewage or drainage systems.  No toxic decomposition products if stored properly.

 

Deosan Diversal DX11

·     Uses: Sanitiser.

·     Contains: 5 – 15% Sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate

Sodium dichloroisocyanurate dihydrate

·        Physical Properties: Appearance:     Pink powder.

     pH: 8 – 8.5 in a 1% solution.

     Odour: Chlorine like.

     Solubility: Soluble in water

     Relative Density: 1.00 gcm-3

·     Ecological Factors: 5% - 15% chlorine based bleaching agents, 15 – 30% Phosphates.  Bleaching agents used in this product will break down rapidly in the environment into harmless substances.  Must not reach sewage or drainage systems in dilute or undiluted forms.

·     Stability and reactivity: If comes in contact with acid, chlorine is liberates.  Decomposition products may include chlorine.
