 The aim of this web-site is to give an introduction to the world of microprocessors and provide an insight into what the future has in store for computer chips. We will look at the development of the first “personal computers”, less than 65 years ago, to the supercomputers of today and to the extreme computers of tomorrow-using ideas of quantum physics and even DNA to perform calculations!
