This is the correct answer! It is important to keep the patient calm, if possible get them to use their blue reliever inhaler every 5-10 minutes. If the attack is mild, i.e. does not go on for longer than 5-10 minutes, immediate medical attention is not required. If this is the first attack, or it goes on for longer than 10 minutes with the inhaler not having much effect call 999. Keep getting the casualty to take their inhaler every 5-10minutes until further help arrives.
