  • Introduced in 1987
  • Discovered in Washington's Wenatchee River Valley
  • A sweet apple with zingy crunch
  • Resists browning, therefore a good choice for making salads and fruit trays
BRAEBURN
  • Originate from New Zealand
  • Introduced in 1952
  • Probable parents are Hamilton and Granny Smith
  • Colour ranges from red to orange to yellow, juicy and crisp
NEWTOWN PIPPIN
  • Originate from Long Island in 1759
  • Also known as Albemarle Pippin
  • Distinctively green with yellow highlights
