The Star of India is the largest known sapphire in the World and weighs in at 563 carats.

This sapphire weighs 478 carats. It once belonged to Queen Marie of Romania, but was recently (2003) bought at auction for US$1,494,480.

The Stuart (King Charles II) Sapphire The Logan Brooch Sapphire

The Stuart Sapphire is the largest sapphire in the British Crown Jewels at 101 carats.

The Logan Sapphire, from Sri Lanka, weighing 423 carats. It is now a part of America's National gem Collection, and belongs to the Smithsonian Institution.
