Career
1993 - Awarded BSc(Hons) in Chemistry, The University of Bristol
1998 - Awarded PhD, University of Bristol entitled 'New molecular methods for tracing natural and anthropogenic inputs to soils and sediments',
under the supervision of Professor RP Evershed.
1998 - NERC funded postdoctoral research assistant working on a project investigating the trophic interactions of soil mesofauna, University of Bristol
2001 - Manager of the NERC Life Sciences Mass Spectrometry Facility Bristol Node (LSMSF-Bristol)
2003 - University funded Research Associate in Mass Spectrometry
2007 - University funded Research Fellow in Biogeochemistry
I currently work in the Organic Geochemistry Unit (OGU), part of the Organic and Biological Section of the
School of Chemistry, and a key component of the Bristol Biogeochemistry Research Centre. I also have an OGU webpage.
