Using the WWW for Teaching Chemistry

A Demonstration Poster for the Chemistry Webmasters Meeting 4

TML (Tutorial Markup Language) is a Perl-based program that allows Multiple-Choice Questions to be delivered via the web. It was the first such program to be developed at Bristol University (at the ILRT) and is still quite basic in terms of layout options and question types. It is being used in the Chemistry Dept for basic MCQs and self-learning, but will probably be superceded within the next few years by more sophisticated systems such as the Teach-and-Learn program.
