Alison Paul - Water in CO2 Microemulsions

Alison is currently a lecturer in Physical Chemistry at Cardiff University - her current webpage is http://www.cardiff.ac.uk/chemy/staff/paul.html

Alison completed her PhD in the Eastoe research group at Bristol University, investigating surfactants for stabilizing water in CO2 microemulsions. After this she moved to Cardiff to post-doc for Dr. Peter C. Griffiths  working on absorption of polymers in fluorinated media. Following that she moved to the Royal Institute of technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden to work on electrophoretic NMR studies of colloidal systems and then returned to Bristol to work on fundamental and applied studies of functionalized surfactants

As well as this, Alison has set up her own research using physicochemical techniques to advance understanding of polymeric drug delivery systems with the Centre for Polymer Therapeutics in Cardiff.
