The Bristol Electrochemistry Group is based in the world-class School of Chemistry at the University of Bristol, centre of excellence for teaching and research and home to Bristol ChemLabS.
We also have close links with the Cabot Institute
Research images from the group, including front cover images from PCCP, December 2011, and ChemPhysChem, August 2012, showing nanoparticle-mediated electron transfer ("Electrochemical Charge Transfer Mediated by Metal Nanoparticles and Quantum Dots") and a sub-monolayer of ssDNA-stabilised reduced graphene oxide assembled by electrostatic adsorption ("Contrast in Electron-Transfer Mediation between Graphene Oxide and Reduced Graphene Oxide"). Other images show the Bristol Electrochemistry Group labs.
We participate in many public events, from Outreach science in the local shopping mall and the University's Research without Borders, a celebration of postgraduate research, to Pint of Science in the local pub!
From bridges to balloons and Banksy to boats; a few images of the things that make Bristol iconic, including the award winning Royal Fort Gardens.
