Five-Spice Chicken | |||||||||||||||

Sprinkle the chicken liberally with the five-spice powder. Mix the remaining ingredients together and marinate the chicken for 24 hours, or at least overnight, in this mixture. |

Drain the marinade and reserve. Microwave the chicken for ten minutes at highest power setting. Drain the juices, turn the chicken, and cook on "high" for five minutes longer. Heat the marinade and juices separately. | |||||||||||||||
Or, you may cook the chicken in a conventional oven at 350 degrees for 60-75 minutes, basting occasionally. |
