Julie Stephenson
Julie first came to the electrochemistry group on an EPSRC Vacation Bursary in the summer of 2011,
looking at the electrochemical reduction of CO2 to form liquid fuels.
Julie gained an MSci in Chemistry from the University of Bristol
after completing a final year project entitled
"Sustainable Materials for the Low Temperature Reduction
of Carbon Dioxide to Methanol"
with the electrochemistry group. After completing her undergraduate studies,
Julie rejoined the electrochemistry group in January 2013 on an EPSRC-funded scholarship as a PhD candidate investigating the photoelectrochemistry
of semiconducting materials for water splitting.
