Imagine a non-polluting battery that was
endlessly rechargeable??
This is a realistic imagine in fact the fuel cell has been powering spacecraft since the 1960’s. However the high cost of production has kept them a luxury item. Now the manufacturing costs are falling so the possibility of cars fuelled by fuel cells is very, very real.
The fuel cell works on the same principle as the battery, Hydrogen reacts with Oxygen producing an electron transfer which is converted to an electric current. This is a clean and efficient reaction and the only waste product is water!
