Permethrin |
| Permethrin
is an insecticide that is used to spray onto fabrics such as clothing,
tents and mosquito nets to protect from biting insects. Permethrin
works as an insecticide and when contact is made it causes nervous system
toxicity and causes the mosquito to die.
Permethrin has a very low toxicity on mammals and is not a significant danger to humans. It is also not readily absorbed by skin although contact should be avoided. Permethrin is effective after washing but garments should be impregnated after five washes |
