Ozone is an atmospheric compound, found both at ground level and in the stratosphere. It also is responsible for various chemical reactions. Ozone is crucial for life as we know it, preventing harmful radiation from reaching the earth. But, it also has a not so nice side. Low level ozone is partly responsible for photochemical smog's in our cities and also presents a health hazard.
