Geometrical Model for Diamond Growth
This page houses a link to files associated with a geometric model for diamond growth developed by Alexander Bogatskiy and James E. Butler, currently at St Petersburg University in Russia. The paper describing the model is in DRM with DOI 10.1016/j.diamond.2014.12.010.

The models are implemented using Wolfram Mathematica using three .cdf executable files which can be opened using Wolfram's free cdf reader. You can download the installation files here (200 Mb).
DCVD_twin100_T1.0.cdf: presents the evolution of a twin formed on the surface of a {100} plane. The model allows for adjustable growth rates, times, and seed crystal sizes.
DCVDtwin111T1.0.cdf: presents the evolution of a twin formed on the surface of a {111} plane.
DCVD_Vicinal_V1.0.cdf: includes the option for a vicinal (off axis) surface..
