Electron Microscope Photo Library

The examples from the links on the left-hand menu are of various CVD diamond films grown at Bristol over the past couple of years. The photos were taken using various types of high magnification microscopes, such as a scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM) or an atomic force microscope (AFM). The magnification level is usually indicated on the photo, as well as a scale bar (shown as a white line next to a scale indicator, e.g. 5 μm).
