Glovebox wet-bench

A glovebox - for handling hazardous or air-sensitive materials, such as nanodiamond powders and CNTs. It is flushed with positive-pressure of dry nitrogen gas and samples can be loaded via a load-lock.

A wet bench inside a fumehood. This is used for acid-cleaning diamond samples and other wet cheical treatments. The bench also has various heating plates and oil-baths.
furnace oven

A high temperature furnace. This can go upto about 1000°C, and is used to anneal samples in air or bake on contacts.

A vacuum oven. This can go upto about 400°C, but can be attached to a vacuum line so that annealling can be done in vacuo.
