Jo graduated from the University of Bristol in July 2012. She carried out her final year Masters project, “Insulating Nanodiamond Powders as Electrocatalyst Support for Fuel Cell Applications”, in the Electrochemistry group under the supervision of Prof David Fermín. She rejoined the group in October 2012 to commence her PhD, in which she is investigating the use of bimetallic nanoparticles as electrocatalysts for CO₂ reduction.
