Julian Eastoe Research Group

Dr Ali Bumajdad

Prof. Julian Eastoe

Position: Assistant professor at Kuwait University. Currently I’m a visiting fellow at Bristol University.

Interest: Structure and phase behaviour of water-in-oil microemulsions stabilized by single or mixed surfactants.  Also I’m interested in synthesizing nanoparticles and highly porous materials such as metal, metal oxides, and polymers, in surfactant-templated systems such as lyotropic liquid crystals, micellar systems, vesicles, and microemulsions.
